Boat For Sail only works if people get involved. Here’s how, depending on what you’ve got to give.
🎓 Learn to sail
Start the free curriculum today — it costs nothing and you can begin on shore. When you’re ready for the water, find a host.
🤝 Become a host
Got a boat and some experience? Hosting is the single highest-impact thing you can do. Add your name and home water and we’ll bring you in as an early host.
🛶 Help build the boat
Boatbuilders, designers, and tinkerers: help us settle the 180 design and build the first prototypes.
🎬 Make videos
Film, edit, narrate, or be on camera for the video library. Every clip we publish teaches someone who has no instructor nearby.
Support the mission
The programs are free; keeping them free and safe costs money — boats, insurance, safety gear, and the curriculum work. Donations will be tax-deductible once our 501(c)(3) determination is final. Donation links go here once the nonprofit and platform are set up.

Stand up a dedicated project inbox (e.g., a free Gmail like boatforsail@gmail.com, or hello@ once we have a domain) and a simple Google Form for learner/host sign-ups, then swap the address/link here. Using a dedicated address keeps personal inboxes private and spam-free. Tracked in #12.
Especially if you want to host or build: drop us a note with your home water and what you sail. The earliest people in get to shape how this whole thing works.
